Car stolen

For sure, I had my keys with me when I went to the store. I remembered for sure. Also, I locked my car with the keyless key remote, which is why I could not get inside the car when I first went out. As soon as I went inside the store to look for the keys and had no luck, went back outside and the car was gone.

In reality, it's only a car. Count your blessings you weren't hurt or slain. There are many, many more cars to have and to enjoy. Good luck!

One would hope so. However, insurance companies try to work to 'trade' prices while you will likely have to pay retail.

In the UK it's classic car insurance - but most have restrictions on use and certain conditions before granting it. It usually can't be the main car, and a mileage limit may apply. You also may not be allowed to take the car to work. Policies without these restrictions aren't usually any cheaper than 'ordinary' ones - especially if your insurer does a discount for a second etc car.

OK, I did not get that the first time through... The if you do have theft insurance they should make you whole again (minus your deductible).

Hey guys,

I'm back on wheels now, I just took delivery of a brand new E90 yesterday. Original car still not recovered but the E90 drives really nice. This time, I definitely ordered the LoJack and use the autolock bar. Insurance is processing my final settlement.

Question: I have leftover new oil filters that fits the E46, does anyone know if they will fit the E90? If not, I may have to exchange them.

It's great to be back in a bmw ;-)
