I've just come back from the local dealer £895 lighter 'cos the EML
light came on the other day, the DSC light and the brake wear light so
took it to the dealer and was told the wiring harness in the engine
Asked how this fails and was told high resistance so presume there's
been an ongoing failure. Must admit the car's been a bit sluggish of
late and I've found, from research on the net, this is related to the
electronics with the throttle.
Driving it from the dealer it feels just like new only better! The X5
and Merc coupe on the road home will vouch for that!
BUT why would this fail? Any one got any ideas?
