no one has mentioned the oxygen sensor(s) on this issue. w/o it the computer keeps dumping to much fuel, sometimes they become lazy. you can test it yourself w/ a DMM.

The car does not reference the O2 sensors until after a delay, by which time the ECU thinks the sensor should be warmed up. So if the engine started and ran for 3-4 minytes and then started to run badly and throw check engine codes I would point at the O2 sensor(s)
