Might there be an easy solution to the dash temperature gadge that shows the outside temperature? Mine shows outside temperature to be 136 degrees?? thanks, dorothy

Is it always at 136 degrees? Or, went you start the car it's at a more believable reading.
If this is the case I'd have a mechanic check to verify the sender unit didn't come loose and is near something that normally gets hot.
By the way, does anyone know exactly WHERE the sending unit is located? How do you locate a thermistor that won't pick up either road heat or engine heat or sun baked body heat?
