what you said earlier about the shift soleniods may be true but like an earlier reply had said it may be the ground also..the soleniods are controlled by a ground and when the ground is applied the solenoids either relieve pressure or allow pressure to build within the valve body...there is also a seperator plate between the valve body and the channel plate that is filled with orifice tubes and has a thermostatic valve that moves once heated up...this allows for extra flow to pass when the fluid gets to hot, if this is bent or stuck it could cause more fluid flow then necessary causing missed shifts...good luck with ur tranny
