Just curious. Does Chevy/GMC use the same GVWR stickers for all 1500's, without consideration of major options - like engine size and 4x4? If not, how many different GVWRs are there for 1500s? If you have a '90 to '05 1500, and if you care to, how about posting your door sticker GVWR, along with year, engine, 4x4?, and any other options that you think are significant. Thanks. Cal

4x4 push button with auto trac ( i think thats what they call it. it has auto, 2 hi 4 hi N and 4 lo auto
5.3 gvwr 2903 kg (6500 lb) gawr front 1780 kg (3925 lb) gawr rr 1701 kg (3750 lb)

Note: I agree that GVWR SHOULD be based on the actual axel, springs, tires, engine, coolers, etc. Just trying to empirically verify that they are (or aren't).
