How can I reset the check engine light without going to the dealer. Thanks

If you have a local Auto Zone, you can borrow one of their scanner tools by giving them a credit card and your driver's license. It plugs in under the dash under your steering wheel, will read the codes and gives you the option of reseting the light. Bob
Just go into Auto Zone or Advance Auto or pick one, and tell them you need the codes read. They will come out read the code and then ask them to reset it.
