I would like to know if there is anybody towing a 32 fifth wheel with slideout with a 6.5 turbo and how does it pull and the mileage per gallon and what rear end gears.THank you ,Tom

I am pulling a 29 foot HR with slide out weighing right at 8,000 ready to hit the road. My tow is a 95 GMC 3/4 ton 6.5 turbo with 4.10 gears and a
4L80E transmission. It pulls fairly good but right now I am working out some injector pump problems so my data is skewed. I got approx 11.6 on my summer vacation overall average from Oklahoma to Spokane and back. Many many high passes. Medicine Bow saw first gear several times. Tagweeta saw second gear a lot. Rataan saw second a bit too.Forest service lady, near the summit of Medicine Bow, commented, "we don't see many of those (6.5's) up here, we see more Dodge Cummins and Ford Power Strokes.
