89 S-10 Throttle Body gasket

I've heard these often leak so I bought a new one. It pulling the TB to get the old gasket off and the new one on a snap on these engines?

yes if it is the intake gasket. spray some starter fluid around base of old gasket while it is running and you will know if it leaks or not.
