I've never had such trouble changing the air filter on any of the vehicles that I've owened until now. This van has the typical engine cover/shell on the inside. I removed most of the screws that I thought were the only ones holding that thing and the latches, but it is still attached. Do I need to remove all the bolts on the side, underneath the dash? If any of you know about these vans, please let me know. Thanks.

i had an 87 were two bolts on both sides of the the firewall held the inside cover in place. you cant miss them they are large, and slotted for a large screw driver (which works best). on my 92 they moved them to the inside of the vehicle. in either case they are up near the top of the inside cover.
