A/C discharge service port leaking

Anyone got a quick way to seal off this service port? Also, is a metal cap available for this port and how tight can one tighten the plastic one without stripping it? Looks like the port is part of the block/hose assy and not replacable. Looks like the suction has a schrader valve, but not the discharge....too bad, if it had one, no problem.... Thanks....Pete

If you look closely I think you will see the top part of the port can be unscrewed from the bottom part. You must be carefull though because its made of aluminum. Make sure you back up the bottom part when removing or you will twist off the entire thing. You local chev dealer will have a replacement. The platic cap tightened as tight as possible by hand will probably hold it too.
