Has anyone used this tire before? I'm looking at the "traction" version instead of the "A/S" because I want better performance on snow and ice (2WD pickup.) How noisy are the traction tires on the highway if I put them on all around, and is the treadwear good? I got about 55000 miles on the original Generals, only rotated them twice. They totally sucked in the winter and on wet grass. (wet grass is not a real concern, but ice and moderately-deep snow are.) At least they never broke or shifted a belt like every other set of Generals I've ever owned
The other tire in the running at this point is the Kelly Springfield "Safari Trex RD"
