BF Goodrich Traction T/A Tires

Has anyone had any experience with these tires? I'm thinking of replacing my stock Bridgestone RE92's, and I've read good things about these tires. And they're relatively inexpensive (compared to the $200/tire tires I was looking at...)

Thanks...

I can't really answer your question, but for what it's worth, we just installed Goodyear Regatta 2's on our Outback wagon. So far - about

1,000 miles - I've been very pleased. They're quieter than the BFG Precept tires that they replaced, and although we haven't had bad weather yet, I'm confident they'll be better in the snow, too.

FYI, I bought the tires at Just Tires. I did some comparison shopping in terms of buying from Tirerack.com ($64 each) and bringing to an installer for mounting and balancing vs. simply buying at Just Tires ($79 each). Overall (purchase, mounting and balancing), it cost $30 more to simply buy the tires at Just Tires. The convenience was worth a lot more than $30, plus I now get free rotations and balancing at any Just Tires location.

And there's a lot to be said, imo, for supporting one's own local businesses.

I just swapped out the OEM Potenzas at 27,000KM.....those tires were garbage. My ABS was far too active in the rain although I had good control last winter in the snow PROVIDED I drove very cautiously....Anyway, I still have less than 1,000KM on the Traction T/A's but I can say that I have not been able to break them loose in the couple of rain storms we've had. I'm looking forward to the snow....these tires feel really good!!!
