Brakes hoses - The secret?

I found out the correct brake system on my 84 c-10 but now I'm having a hard time getting the flexible brake hoses off. I've turn the outside of one and about to strip the inner nut where the hard line connects. Is there a secret to getting these things off?

thanks

PB Blaster. Hit em, let em' soak for 15 minutes, then hit em' again.

Unfortunatley I've had to resort to vise grips (after soaking with WD-40 or equivelant) in the past. Sometimes the threads are so stripped from a previous job where the mechanic was not careful to line the threads up, that I will just replace a section of the hard line and fittings along with it. Line is cheap, and the flaring tool I have is worth it's weight in gold. Plus it saved me a LOT of time, not screwing with trying to get it undone. If I can't get it off with the flare nut wrench...something ain't right in the first place..... In my opinion that is....
