Its possible to put the brake calipers on upside down on an S-10 if you put them on the opposite sides.

I did it. Wanna hear the "other" funny part? Except for being kind of a pain to bleed with the bleeder on the bottom THEY WORK THAT WAY. Even the anti lock worked just fine.

I put them back the right way... (with new little copper crush gaskets)

I've seen this done before and then wondering why they can't get a good brake peddle. It's possible to mount up wrong on a few cars and trucks, but you really have to be a Idiot to do so anyway with the bleader screw being on the bottom. Hell you can take it off, Flip it around and blead it and mount it back on wrong and it'll work just as good until the next time you work on the brakes. I guess you figured it out at some point, or was it someone else. Sounds like you were driving it around with it wrong. I've seen a lot of dumb things, so this is pretty minor.

Test drove it afetr finishing, and mentally it just kept bothering me that ti couldn't be right, so I went back and changed it. Cost me 3 dollars for another new set of crush gaskets.
