Power steering pressure

My 83 K5 Blazer has always seemed to have too much assist in the power steering. It makes the steering feel kind of loose when cruising so that it takes more effort to go in a straight line. I don't think the steering components are loose, I just think I need less power in the power steering so I can get more feedback and feel. Is there a way to reduce the pressure from the pump or something?

Does it seem like it wants to wander a tad at highways speeds on a straight section of road? If it does you might want to have the toe checked.

Im thinking its not your power steering...ITS AN 83...When is the last time you had you front end checked out.....Also what is your tire pressure? You cannot adjust the pressure from the pump ...Sound more to me like a weak front end.Tie rods ball joits pitman idler arm.....Lift up the front of the blazer.....wiggle your tires from side to side...If they move easy or if you move one and the other dont move with it right away they you have a problem and then you need to find out what is worn out....
