Tranny's probably hooped
I have an `88 Chev 1/2 ton 2wd with the Electronic speed sensor.
Found a Tranny in an 88 Van, but it has cable type speedo.
Can I swap the tailshaft housing from mine to it.
Tailshafts appear to be same length and all other connections seem to match.
I know I posted about this trans. before, but I'm not entirely conviced that its the tranny. Two transmission with the same problem, no reverse or 3rd gear... Maybe just a bum tranny???
