I?ve got a 99 Silverado with the new body style and the clicking that the turn signal makes won?t turn off when I?m not turning. I?ve tried changing the signal fuse but that didn?t help.

It's your turn signal relay. Replace that.

i finally got frustrated enough and took it to my local dealership. they changed the turnsignal arm that sticks out of the steering colum and that solved it.

I have this same problem with my 98 Blazer and tore into it this morning and have came to the common sense conclusion it?s also the blinker arm. I?m not about to tackle this part myself and was wondering what the cost the dealership charged?

I have a 1997 Silverado and have had the same issue. The flasher flashes when I?m not turning. I replaced the flasher and found it to be no difference. The flashing comes and goes but lately has been on all the time.
I?m wondering if the flashing quits while the brakes are applied on your vehicles? I?m wondering if there is a leakage current somewhere enough to cause the flashing or whether the arm is damaged.
I?m also curious on the replacement cost. I figure if the whole thing needs to be replace I?m looking at $600 +?
Hope you have some helpful info.
Probably some crappy bit of plastic that broke inside!
Thanks!
