re: 1982 Chevy Suburban 6.2 L Diesel Can anyone tell me whether the wiring on '84 and later GM cruise control switches (on turn signal lever) is the same as the one on on my '82. I need a new switch (everything else is working fine) and there are lots of '84 and later switches available, although these also include wiper controls which I am not concerned about. I expect the later model would not be a direct plug-in but do the CC wires at least match up? Mine has three leads, an end push-button (set), and a three position slider (off-on-resume).
A wiring diagram for '84 and later would probably answer the question but I have not found one.
