A while back my 1992 New Yorker started having starting problems, it would not usually start on the first attempt, but usually would start on the second or third attempt when cold. A hot engine starts on the first attempt. I replaced the wires and plugs, but nothing changed. I feel that the engine isn't getting a rich enough mixture when cold, and by repeated attempts gets enough gas to finally start. The engine is a 3.8 liter v6. Other than that there are no other problems. Any suggestions?

has great rebuilt regulators. The guy has a very very tiny delapidated store front in Brooklyn NYC and all he does is rebuild regulators for a living. He has been doing it for 18 years, and actually puts improvements into his rebuilt regulators. He charged me $55 for the driver side regulator, and it works great. Nice guy too, I saw him in person. He is also the same person selling the same regulators on ebay for $160 ... I guess he figures there is a fish out there that will bite.
