95 chrysler lebaron stalls while driving

my lebaron has about 116000 mi. Died while I was driving around 30 mph. it started when I turn the key then immediatly died again and would not hold idle. I held my foot on the gas until it held idleing. I've replaced the spark plugs, wires, cap, and even coolant sensor. Car died on me once since then and seems to have a lower rpm at higher speeds and rpms dip lower then normal at deceleration and bounces back almost feeling like the car wants to die again. I'm running out of ideas and solutions any good ones out there?? Thanks, John

First off, you don't mention which engine you have, and which transmission. Your problem could be related to the speed/distance sensor or its wiring, the AIS motor or its wiring, the throttle body, the PCV system...we need more info.

Secondly, your car has fairly good self-diagnostic capabilities. To check the computer codes:

With the engine off, switch the ignition key on-off-on-off-on, leaving it "ON". Do not go to "start", just "on" during this procedure.

Watch the "Check Engine" or "Power Loss" light. It will turn on, then go off, then will begin to flash-out any trouble codes that have been stored. For instance, if it flashes:

flash flash flash

flash flash flash flash flash flash flash flash

flash flash flash flash flash flash flash flash flash flash

Then you have a 12 (one flash followed by two) a 35 (three and five) and a

55 (five and five). 55 means "end of codes" or, if by itself, "No codes stored. Check the codes and report what you find.
