Chrysler LHS question

Jan 29, 2004 2 Replies

The car is a 1994 Chrysler L.H.S. with a 6 cylinder. The air bag light is on on the dash. The horn is still working. The dealership says that the horn usually quits with the airbag light coming on. It came on and went out a few times but now stays on all the time. This started when the battery went ded and I needed a boost. Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Brad

More than likely the clockspring cable in the steering column is in need of replacement.

His dealer doesn't think so because the horn is still working. People have posted of wierd problems after changing a battery possibly caused by the old bad battery. Might want to disconnect the battery for a few minutes until computer resets itself. (Not sure how long... hopefully someone will post). Also all ground connections on the car need to be checked to make sure they are all good. Some get corroded and cause wierd problems.
