Would it be wise to change the Solenoid if I get this code. Supposedly it is an electrical problem. Went to AMACO and they said they could fix the problem for $400.00. I am a little skeptical because I believe it is a simple, as replacing the TTC converter. What do you think?

What is the TTC converter? Are you thinking of the TCC - torque converter clutch TCC? According to the code description, the problem is apparently electrical (a short) as you said - so it would make sense that it is a short in the wiring to the solenoid or in the solenoid itself.
