EGR Valve

Nov 07, 2005 5 Replies

Hi All,

I just put my Plymouth Voyager on the computer and found I had a code of

EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION FLOW INSUFFICIENT DETECTED.

STFT BANK 1 -4.6% LTFT BANK 1 14% INTAKE MANIFOLD PRESSURE 13.5 in. hg.

Does anyone know how many EGR valves their are on this vehicle? Any idea where I should start looking?

Thanks in advance,

Blair

It only has one and if you tell the group a year and model we may be able to tell you where to find it

Thanks Glenn,

The Van is a 1998 Plymouy Voyager Espresso edition. I think it has a 3.3, I will check when my wife gets home.

Thanks for your help,

Blair

The valve is located behind the throttle body

I think the original idea was to lower the combustion temperature, to reduce NOx emissions. MB

Thanks Glenn, I appreciate the information.
