haynes or chiltons for 2000 Grand Voyager

I am pulling the tranny in my 2000 GV and was wondering if it would be worthwhile to purchase a Haynes or Chiltons manual? Do any of these even show a R&R of a tranny?

thanks

You would be better off if you can get a Factory Service Manual, especially for a big job like that. Used ones are available on eBay, and new ones can still be purchased from Chrysler. They are expensive though at $90.00.

Another option would be to purchase a one-year subscription to alldata.com for you vehicle. Several independent shops go this route.

There are some posters on this NG, that have done transmission R & R's. One of them may be able to provide you with a step by step procedure, and maybe even have pictures.

No. Bite the bullet, get a factory service manual.

Yes. And sometimes, it's even a transmission that was available for the car and year you're working on.
