Not very on topic, so I invite people to search for 'em (seller id: richardk66). When I was in the states a while back, I bought a little set of models of British sportscars - MGB Roadster, MGA 1500, Triumph TR3A and Austin Healey Sprite (my favourite of them).
They weren't marketed in the UK, were made by Johnny Lightning models, and were part of the British Invasion series. The ones I got were limited editions (of 7,500 - not that limited) with an electroplated and 'bare metal' version in the box.
Although six cars were made in the series, only these four were produced in the limited edition format as the other two cars had been marketed as film tie-in cars before.
I like having models of cars I own - I figure anyone UK based with one of these cars for real, might like these nice US-market models of them.
Anyway, I've decided with my car collection (like most things I collect), it's the getting, not the having I liked best, so I've put them on eBay, along with some old Dinky/Corgi cars I have (I have far, far too many).
