Seam sealer did the job for me, but will also strip (cellulose) paint if allowed to.

Try those rear-view mirror double sided sticky tabs. Those dark green ones take some 'un-sticking' once they're on!

What's up with "No-Nails". It claims to stick anything to anything, don't know about it's "Nitromors" effect though ;-)

What's going wrong with the world? It's a bright pink 2cv, ffs.
If you feel it MUST have badges on, just use a pair of self-tappers.
Dilemma over - now hurry up with taking that soddin' webshite off my hands, Andrew.
And aren't CND stickers usually self-adhesive anyway ?
There is a badge adhesive thats does the job. - there is another stuff called Drip check sealer (like seam sealer) in a tube and the badge fixer is also in a tube made by 3M.
Make sure you use proper mounting tape, not just ordinary double sided Sellotape or worse still, carpet tape. My rear number plate is stuck on with mounting tape and it hasn't fallen off at 39 deg.C.

Nah, that's the 2cv.
Yes, but a (relatively) shiny pink 2CV ;-)
Soon, soon....

Since you mention it - which of you should have put Stratford on the calendar and hasn't?

Er, um....
Yes. Well. Indeed.
I tend to use polyurethane sealer for things like that - Sikaflex 221 or the Dinitrol version that Frost sell - the latter in particular is an excellent adhesive (will even stick rubber exhaust mounts!) but it's much stiffer than Sikaflex so takes more muscle with the caulking gun!
