Seatbelts in P4 100

Jul 25, 2003 2 Replies

I'm poised to swap my 2 VP 4L R's for a decent (as yet unseen) P4. It's a

1960. Is it likely to have seatbelts or, if not, is it easy to fit them?

Thanks

Graeme

I had seat belts fitted to my 1960 Rover 100 by a firm in North London, here are their details:

Quickfit Safety Belt Service Inertia House Lowther Road Stanmore Middlesex HA7 1EP

tele: 020 8206 0101

They did an excellent job fitting inertia reel belts to the front, inertia reels to each side at the back and a lapbelt in the middle. They mounted the reels below the parcel shelf having cut a slot in the shelf, all very neat. There are several colours of webbing to choose from and also chrome buckles and fittings.

3 other Rover P4 friends also obtained seatbelts there too, 1 fitted them himself the other 2 had them fitted.

A good friendly company who specialise in classic cars.
