When wipers fail, no one seems to ever point out that it could just be the wiper arm bushing wearing out. This is very common to Chrysler wipers. The wiper motor is very quiet, so you'll have to listen closely to see if it's working ok. If the wipers won't move at all and you can move them back and forth manually, it's probably a failed bushing. If so, these can be bought at most auto parts stores in the HELP! prepackaged parts made by dormanproducts.com. The part number is 49440. I am putting a link to a pic of the package.
