How do I turn off the dash warning light "Maint Req'd"?

How manny miles ??? 192K Due to emission regs it is required to replace the PVC valve, replace the EGR valve, clean the PVC valve. Befor the light can be reset. Manual says to Connect DBRII scan tool follow the Powertrain diagnostic procedures
