You might as well just buy the hemi 5.7 I'm only getting an average of 12 mpg with that. I have a K&N cold air kit and a Gibson extreme dual exhaust on it. Mine is the 04 ram 1500 quadcab. I burn Irving regular gas up here in NH.

my 07 Dakota gets around 20 hwy and 16+ city. I am also running 100% synthetic Amsoil 10W-30 and Amsoil 25k mile filter.

Ya, I get about the same in my 2002 Dakota SLT 4.7L.

I use regular 10w-30 oil just like the service manual recommends.
