Wheelhorse snow plow?

I've got one of the last Wheelhorse tractors before Toro dropped the old line of stuff, a 4-818 I think. I'm being offered a plow for it, but I'm told to make an offer. Any of you lawn tractor guys know what this stuff goes for used? Any info would help.

Max, don't know about the Wheelhorse blade but a 54" blade for a atv can be bought new for under $200. That is probably more blade than you need, so offer accordingly.

Around here used lawn tractor blades go for $25-$50 depending on the fabrication needed to make them fit what you want to put it on.

Thanks for the info. This blade is for the tractor I have, and has wheel weights to go with it. I already have the rear axle mounts. I figure on using it to clear the sidewalk, basically as a time saver.

I'm willing to bet ya that when it's all said and done, you could have shoveled it in the same time. You gotta count the time getting the thing to start and dicking around with it as shovel time..

Took the time factor into consideration, and figured that unless it really hates starting in the cold, I'll save time. If nothing else, I'll be more motivated. I'd also thought about the ability of my car to get out of the same spot I park the truck, and I know it can't unless I shovel. Due to fuel prices and a number of other factors, I figure I can also plow a path for the car, saving wear on the truck.

Probably 10 years ago I bought a snowblower to do my front and rear porches and sidewalk. After using it about 3-4 times I just get the scoop shovel off the nail and use it. I think I gave the blower away a couple of years ago to make more room in the shed. That blower was about the biggest waste of money I ever spent.

Well this way, instead of buying a plow for the truck, I get a plow that fits my driveway and mows the lawn.

Be a lot easier to assemble the folks here and clear the whole midwest at one time... hot air works fast..

Not much air here at all lately. Only two posts showed up on my server today. Would somebody *please* ask about K&N filters? ;^)

And I thought my puter was acting up again. But I'm not adding much as I'm gone to Detroit for a couple of days. I'll be so much smarter when I get back..... really!!

Well, well, our furry friend is off to Detroit for a few days. I wonder why, although he claims he'll be "so much smarter" when he get's back. How to spin this...... Figure to get smarter, ole fur face had to have been smart in the first place. So, we know that ain't going to happen. Heard from a reliable source that there are a number of things going on in the motor city that he may have waddled into. One is a advanced egg painting course for rabbits, in preparation for Easter, he isn't advanced enough for that. Also there is a gay rabbit convention going on. Do ya think our furry assed buddy has gone over to the other side of the street? I know he frequents his local Home Depot store all the time. It is understood that he has been tossed out repeatedly. Anybody else have any thoughts on this?

We have the WoT once a month here too. Just an excuse for a bunch of women to get together to plink and cackle like a bunch of old hens. Be sure Sue reads that too. If she wants to make an impression with her friends, get her a S&W model 500. It goes boom real nice.
