Thinking ahead -- wheels for snow tires

What do y'all do about snow tires on your Priuses (Prii?)? Do you get a  second set of wheels and get the snow tires installed on them? If so,  any particular recommendations? Or would it be better to pick up a set  of used genuine wheels from a wrecking yard? What is the weight of the OE wheels on the 2015 Prius Four? The steel  wheels at  are hardly any lighter than the alloy wheels they  sell. Perce

FORD FOCUS - NO START - IMMOBILIZER PROBLEM?

Last night I stopped outside a shop returned to my car 5 minutes later and it would not start, all electrics came on but the starter motor wouldn't turn and there were no noises coming from under the bonnet at all, I checked a few fuses etc but everythign seemed ok so I left the car and got a taxi home, I returned to the car this morning and it started 1st time, I've been driving about in the car for about 3 hours and eventually got home,  a few minutes ago I jumped back into it to go to the shops and once again absolutely nothing is happening when I try to turn the engine over -all electrics are working, battery power is fine, it's as though something is stopping the ignition signal getting through to the starter motor, I tried my spare key and that gicves the same results so I suppose the keys are fine, could the ECU be knackered?TIA.

Hello,I hope this isn't a flame or a FAQ but what are the pros and cons ofautomatic and manual gearboxes? I've only ever driven manual carsbefore. I've just been on holiday and rented a car which wasautomatic. I get the impression that Britain is the only county thatdrives manual cars; is that true? Why?I found the automatic a pleasure to drive. The only problem I had wasthat if I went up along a motorway slip road I would put my foot downto accelerate to motorway speed and the gearbox would drop a couple ofgears and rev loudly. I really wanted it to stay in the gear it was inand accelerate. If I approached a hill I would press the gas tocounter the gradient and the same thing happened. I am used to drivinga sluggish diesel, so perhaps I was heavy footed? Was it my fault oris this a "feature" of an automatic gearbox to do this?How should they be driven properly? I wasn't given much instruction!I have spoken to some people who think they are "something else to gowrong". Is that true?...

I've been offered a pre reg' 13 plate Puggy 5008. It has had no owners  and no mileage but with the plate changeover due the dealer has offered  it to me with £5000 off the price so he wants £14000. Is good or can I  do better? TIA
