68 camaro front end questions

I am restoring 68 camaro, 327 3 sp w/ AC. Front end was wrecked and I am putting back together but could use advice/help on some details. I straightened radiator support and am trying to figure out how the headlight wire harness is routed. It looks like it should go on front side of radiator support @ bottom - however, there are some plastic cable holders on the harness which appear they were snapped in holes to support cable - but there aren't any holes on radiator support?!! If anyone has pics of front end or advice - I'd appreciate it. Thanks Ed

Sounds like a '68 Camaro assembly manual from one of the vendor is in order. Should give you what you need. Ya, a Helm manual (which is the factory OEM manual) is not an assembly manual.

An ASSEMBLY manual is what the assembly plant used to put the vehicle together and would have such details. A "Helm" or shop manual tells you how to service the vehicle.

Year One, the Paddock, Classic, etc, all sell reprints of these original GM plant documents. Joe--ASE Certified Parts Specialist & 10th Ann.Club Tech Director '80 Carousel Red Turbo T/A, 26k orig. OK, got it. A little slow.. but I understand. Are all the sources same quality? (ie. same reprints) or are some better than others? Thanks Ed

I think one company does them all and resells them to the various restoration houses out there. Joe--ASE Certified Parts Specialist & 10th Ann.Club Tech Director '80 Carousel Red Turbo T/A, 26k orig.
