Windshield wiper motor

My windshield wiper motor either gave out on me or the switch did. The motor clicks when I turn the wipers on but does not run. I bought a new motor and attached the power to it to see if it worked. It clicked the same way as the old one. This is on a 79 Camaro. Any ideas?

Switch, as its a common item.

Usually, if you rap on the metal part of the motor with a rubber mallet and it "comes back to life", then you have found your problem.

Another thing is the little ground strap (one of the mounting bolts grounds through it). Some folks forget that and it will drive them nuts. LOL.

I agree the switch may be your issue, though. Should still be available from GM or Delco.
