My 2002 Eddie Bauer has had a few electrical issues that I can't pinpoint. I believe most of them may be related to my driver side door.
1) I cannot use the auto doorlock switch unless the car is running (passenger side works without running). 2) When I turn the car off and get out, the interior and sidemirror lights stay on for about 10 minutes. 3) If I turn the car off but leave the keys in the ignition, the chime will continue indefinitely, until the keys are removed. 4) The radio and accessories will now only work if the key is in the ignition. 5) When I turn on the rear defrost I get a 'door ajar' warning, which disappears as soon as I turn off the defrost.It was suggested to me that there is a switch in the driver side door that has gone bad and is causing most of these problems. Has anyone had similar issues?
