My son just bought a 2001 Sport. In order to re-program the door lock pad, he needs the pre-set factory code. The card is missing, but the code is supposedly taped to the outside of the computer. Where is the computer?

Just went through the same issue myself. Was told the module was in the jack compartment. It is not, at least not in mine, even the dealer could not find it. After calling Ford CS directly I was told " it is inaccessible" the code must be read at the dealership. Luckily the dealer read it for me for free,expect 30-40 dollar charge at most. Once you have the code, you can program ANOTHER code, but the original stays active as well.
