so the check engine light in my 94 xlt (130k miles) is coming on, and i was able to get the code pulled. there was only 1, code 186 (injector pulse width higher than expected, with BP/BARO sensor).
combine this with the symptoms: when it runs rough, it does not respond to the accelerator, as if no gas is being delivered. when it is worst, it actually stalls, only to be able to start 30 min or an hour later. revving the engine also produces a noise like a 2-stroke engine (like a lawnmower) from under the hood.
any ideas what the problem[s] could be? i'm thinking it's perhaps an exhaust leak from the recently replaced EGR valve and pipe, or from the intake manifold gaskets?
