Just last week I read somewhere about using an oil cooler from a Mustang or Thunderbird on our 4.0's. I can't find the note in my IE history and I'd like more details.
This oil cooler attaches where the oil filter goes and exchanges heat with the coolant through heater hoses. Your oil filter then attaches to this piece.
Does anyone know the model years and engines that came with this oil cooler that are compatible with a Ranger's 4.0?
