2003 Mercury Grand Marquis Front end noises

This vehicle is only 6 months old with not even 10K and has developed noises from the under the front end and or under carriage which I have not yet had diagnosed at the dealer. I thought I would bring this up at the 10K checkup and have the dealer check while the car is in the air for tire rotation etc.

I realize that a car often makes noise from the area of the brakes that are quite normal ie groans and squeaks etc. however the noises I'm hearing are clicking and clacking when petal is applied and released often the noises are slightly delayed after pedal use. Could U joint noise travel to the front end? Also the same noises are evident at slow speed when running over a bump etc or are greatly amplified when reversing out of my garage ( has a

2 inch drop)

I'm worried that I'll get the runaround from the dealer and want to arm myself with all the information I can so as to properly discuss this problem with the service advisor and yes I do have a negative attitude about customer service due to previous disappointments.

My apologies for such a lengthy post I'm a newbie at posting here.

Thank you all who respond
