My wife's Sable is having problems lately. At highway speeds with the cruise on, the speedometer starts jumping up and down and then the cruise control will shut itself off. The engine seems to surge or hunt for the right speed. Around town it's fine. And sometimes even with the CC off, the speedo will still do the jumping around at highway speeds. Any ideas?
