I have a 1998 Ford Windstar 3.8L The speedometer and the tachometer dont work. repair the VSS and dashboard and still not working so could you please help

Do you mean tachometer? Or odometer?
The odometer records miles traveled. The tachometer indicates the speed of the engine (in RPMs).
It could be the wires or cables going from the vehicle speed sensor to speedometer.
It could also be a bad ground.
