There will always be something wrong. You might as well pull out the check engine light and get a scan tool. Scan it once a month. I can't think of anything that the check engine light indicates that needs immediate repair. Any condition needing immediate attention has a light, such as the brake fluid, the oil pressure, airbags, ABS, etc.
