'00 Focus 1,6l Zetec lacks power under load. Idle and any constant rpm is just fine. Reving or any load and engine hesitates and will not pull. 1.gear feels like 3rd. I guess this problem is related to fuel delivery. Any thoughts?

Fuel pump or filter are possible problems. When's the last time you had a full tune-up - new plugs and wires, clean the intake system etc? Have you had it checked for codes (could be a sensor). How's your air filter? Often it's more than one thing. There's so many possible causes and the only way to know is a hands-on inspection by a trained technician.
