Was coming home from work and noticed the ABS light on in the dash. Now when I got home, I shut off the truck, then restarted it, and it acted normal, came on during start up then went out. I tried driving and using the brakes fairly hard here in the neigborhood and could not get it to come back on. Was this a fluke, or a forwarning? Anyone else seen this? Thanks ahead of time. James

My wife's Windstar had the same problem. It would come on, shut it off and restart it, it would go out just to come on again a couple of days later. Ford dealer said they could not do anything unless we brought it in with the light on and engine running. 3 and a half months later we finally had it come on and it just so happened during business hours, so we took it in and they said the ABS relay sensor was bad and had to replace it. Problem is, they had to get it from the factory and it would take 2 weeks to get, so we had no ABS until they replaced it. Now, no problems. Rich
