390 questions

I had a 66 t-bird that I punched out to 406 and used 406 pistons and rods Mild cam and a holley with a hi-rise FANTASTIC! anyway as I can't remember any more .... didn't the 390 have an internal piston and rod change back about late 60's?

332, 352, 360, 390, 406, 427, 428 weren't they all "basically" the same?
