Doors closed. Parking brake on. Gearshift in Park. Key to "on" position, but engine not started. Wait for red belt reminder light to go out (takes about a min) Then, "at moderate speed" buckle and unbuckle the seat belt nine times, leaving it unbuckled after the ninth iteration.
This is where nothing happens.
The light is supposed to come back on within 10 seconds, and you are supposed to buckle and unbuckle the belt one more time. In the several attempts I've tried, the light never comes back on after the nine buckle/unbuckle sequence.
Any suggestions?
