Is there a way to replace or permanently repair the TFI module that is attach to the distributor cap , it is the 6th one that i have to change , can some one tell me wy it is getting so often , or can someone tell me wher i could get one cheaper

Are you buying decent modules? Are you using the white grease that comes with it?

I've had my best luck with NAPA's replacements ; but I carry a spare one and the special tool in the jockybox.
There's a corrollary to Murphy's Law that states "if you carry a spare part; the original won't fail" with the parallel "no spare-- it WILL fail" .
