F150 Brake Question

Apr 27, 2004 1 Replies

Hello all. I have a 2000 F150 x-cab truck. My question is this. I had a friend replace the front pads on the truck. Since the replacement there is alot of brake dust. He said it is due to the rotors needing to be turned. I think he put some cheap pads on. Anyone have an idea?

The rear brakes are out of adjustment. The front brakes are doing most of the braking, AND, it could be the composition of the pads.
