TITAN's HERE!

Maybe when he is old enough to get a license (God forbid) he will get in a wreck with a REAL truck (FORD) and see how his lil playtoy titan holds up then....lol

Oooooo.... now I'm all for that! :)

.177 Weihrauch to start, then center fire auto hand gun for fun, after they scatter from all the noise, 12 gauge with re-loads (3+1/4-1+1/8-#4) with a tight choke while on the wing and for

200+ yards... 53 grainers in a 22-250.

How does that sound to ya, Bob? :)

Feed the birds to the cats and after they get fat and sassy sik the dogs on 'em.

Does that sound like a fun weekend or what? :)

If you do not buy american, you are part of the problem. john

Tell us where and how to buy American. Some Toyota vehicles contain more "American" than some models of Ford, GM or Chrysler as an example. There hasn't been a 100% American vehicle since 1971 when they were the last models that had US made wheel bearings.

Spit it out - where is the all American product? any product?

Yup, but you should really try some 40grain ballistic tips in your 22-250. There isn't anything left to feed the cats if you hit 'em good. Bob

Hmmm... I've never tried/shot anything but 52 and 53 hollow point match in it so far. I shot a jack rabbit with it early on and a kid that was with us swore up and down I missed it! :/ We were discussing the posiblity when the sucker fell over. :/ It was only about 80 yards, if I'da shot it with my old 30-30 (easy shot) the sucker would have been splattered all over the bushes behind it.

Oh well... I got the 22-250 for birds in the first place, an addition/replacement for my old pellet gun actually. :)

I have a bunch of odd 22 bullets that were given to me, I should get that stuff out and do some experimenting and try the 40 gr ballistic tips you mention. :) They won't explode when they exit the barrel like the old 42? 45?gr hornet bullets did will they?

I haven't found anything other than US or Canadian parts on my '75 so far, the original front wheel bearings were US made Timkens. Don't know about the rear wheel bearings, haven't taken the rear axle apart yet. :)

The A/C idler pully has a metric 6203 bearing in it tho. ;)

Libertarians figure free trade is good but then if a guy is socialist/realist then you have to figure that the for-ner;) isn't paying into social security/medicare/income taxes etc.

Bureaucrats don't like that. :)

Mining, agriculture and manufacturing are supposed to be the only things that produce wealth, I try to buy us/ mexican/ canadian/ chilian (american!) products whenever I can.

I really don't count for much tho, no brand-new vehicles in my future! :(

I load em at a little over 4000fps but they are capable of more yet. I've got pics of what they do to prairie dogs and it ain't pretty. Bob

Have you owned that vehicle since new? When did you decide Canada is a part of the USA? If it has Canadian stamped parts, they are foreign made.

Tom J, Why don't cha go ahead and pull your head outta your ass. It's people like you that put the US in the postition that it's in now. That why Americans sew Canadian flags to their stuff when they travel Europe and abroad........ You're sad man. Yes, I'm Canadian.

You said American first and then switched it on me to USA. ;)

Off hand I can't remember what all parts are stamped Canada but the first ones that come to mind are the front brake rotors.

I ordered it in Nov-'74 got it in Feb-'75 and have done all the work on it myself. Except, I'm a motorcycle and air-cooled VW engine rebuilder, no V8s so I handed that job over to someone else (that has a brain:). It turned out good for two reasons, he did an extra good job and I got a chance to work on the pickup without the engine in the way.

I'm figuring on doing the same when I decide to rebuild the rear axle, hand it over to someone that's extra good at it. I've had the axle out and the leaf spring stacks apart but I haven't dismantled the axle yet. The Traction-Lok still works and it's not noisy but I do want to rebuild it before it gets noisy etc.

In the last few months I took apart the A/C so now all that's left for me to dismantle on the old clunker is the rear axle. I haven't actually removed the cab from the frame only loosened it up and scooted it around until it lined up the way I wanted does that count? :)

I don't see how it could be anymore "murcan" anyway. :)

There's not a metric fastner on that thing any where.

You, you with the nick that supposed to make you look like a bad ass?

"Mericans put Canadian Flags on their stuff when they go overseas so they won't be targets. And most of them that engage in that practice don't realize if they'd vote the right people in, they wouldn't have to.

That being said, thank god for Canada.

Other then being kind of ugly, I don't think there is a whole lot of difference between the Titan, and other pick-ups.

Looks like Ford is going with the, "looks more like a truck" style in '04. Doesn't do much for me either. I'll stick with my '01.
